- When the business turnover exceeds Rs.5 crores, businesses are required to adopt 4-digit HSN codes for their trades.
- In the case of import, export dealings, and international trades, businesses must adopt 8-digit HSN codes for their trade activities.
These criteria provide a structured approach for businesses to determine the appropriate level of HSN code adoption based on their turnover and the nature of their trade transactions.
